The Whitley Project was set up to rebuild an Armstrong Whitworth Whitley in September 2000. 1,814 Whitley's were built by Armstrong Whitworth at Coventry and none survive today. Over the last 20 years we have been able to obtain most of the parts required to rebuild a Whitley for museum display. Here are some of the parts we have managed to find so far, and some notable recoveries we have carried out.
